For more than fifteen years, the team behind Monadnock Shutter and Shade has been providing design, repair, and installation services for some of the region’s leading window treatment providers. We saw a need for a truly local provider and founded Monadnock Shutter and Shade in the fall of 2022.

In January 2023, we opened our showroom at 28 Roxbury Street in Keene, New Hampshire. In March 2025, we expanded into the neighboring space, creating an even larger showroom experience with more displays, more inspiration, and more ways to shop for custom window treatments. Whether customers prefer to browse fabrics and product samples in person, schedule an always-free in-home consultation, or combine both experiences, we are committed to making the process comfortable, approachable, and tailored to each space.
